One-to-Watch — Adwaiz
The global tech scene is on the rise and rise; Spotify and Snapchat have filed to go public this year and West Coast giants like Uber and Lyft are expanding their presence on a daily basis.
Though the larger companies get the publicity, great start-ups are launched all the time and there are lots of early stage companies who are worthy of a mention. 360Leaders have helped number of early stage companies grow and seen them go off and do great things. This is why we decided to start running a ‘One-to-Watch’ column; every month we will be introducing an exciting, early stage start-up we believe have the ingredients to go a long way in this world.
The very first focus in our One-to-Watch series is Adwaiz, a social media specialist agency, founded in late 2016. The founder of the company has a background in the ad-tech industry and has worked closely with multiple start-ups as well as large corporates. Having worked with various social media agencies, he realised that there weren’t many specialist agencies providing full circle of services that delivered them all well. Adwaiz was born to bring everything under one roof and specialise across the board.
The newly found company helps its clients to develop a strategy to optimise and focus their social media — helping to pinpoint their social media needs and maximising their presence across all social channels enabling them to realise their potential. The Adwaiz business model is largely based on influencer marketing; it’s network currently consists of over 4,000 London based influencers with this number growing daily.
Adwaiz’s client portfolio to date consists of both global and small local start-ups; Mitchell’s & Butlers (All-Bar-One, Harvester and O’Neills), D&DLondon, JustEat, UberEats, Uber, Drake&Morgan, Soho House Group (Pizza East, Dirty Burger, ChickenShop), TIGI and VitaCoco.
We think that’s pretty impressive going for an 8 month old company! In that time Adwaiz has grown from a one-man-team to a small team of social media specialists and so far has focussed just in the UK market but has plans to expand further as the business wins more clients.
We’re really excited by the work Adwaiz are doing and we’re hoping to see the company up there with some of the most influential start-ups in their field very soon!
